So the goal was to add Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn share functionality. When each link is clicked a popup opens allowing you to share the page on your feed or with someone. What I had to learn was the meta tags which would allow Facebook/LinkedIn to get information on the page.

Also Facebook has pretty decent documentation on their API which you can work with to get the task done. So I doing some testing with a YouTube page in the link. I manage to get things to work pretty well.
