So this month its the tale of using the power of Node JS and Cordova to make a mobile application which it is my hope will actually reach both the Google Play Store and iTunes Store. So the premise for the app is simple. There exists a timetable which is use to alert users to key events that occur each day at certain times. The timetable shared using Google Calender. The goal of the app is two fold. One to accurately reproduce the information shared in a manner that is useful to the end user and also utilize the alarm and notification capabilities of the mobile device to keep the user aware of upcoming events. An additional goal for the app would be to allow users to only receive notifications for specified events.
So with this in check, let the journey begin.
